Supporting Illinois Valley Animal Rescue
At Connecting Point Computer Center, our Jeans Day Friday tradition supports local nonprofits with a simple twist—staff can wear jeans every Friday each week in exchange for a donation. The month if April 2025 recipient is: Illinois Valley Animal Rescue (IVAR).
🐾 About IVAR
Founded in 1999, IVAR has rescued and cared for over 25,000 animals—from dogs and cats to rabbits, birds, and more—in the Illinois Valley area.
Their mission includes rescuing, providing medical care, rehabilitation, and education on responsible pet ownership.
The shelter relies completely on community support and volunteer efforts to sustain its operations.
❤️ Why We’re Supporting IVAR
Our goal is to help IVAR continue its vital work—especially during busy periods such as kitten season or community overcrowding situations. They currently accept donations of supplies, such as pet food, cleaning products, and aluminum cans, which greatly support their operational needs.
