For this week of Makerbot Monday we have a small replica of the Colosseum in Rome.
It is the largest amphitheatre ever built, built of concrete and sand. Construction began in AD 72 and was completed in AD 80. The colosseum could hold an estimated amount of 50,000 to 80,000 spectators, having an average audience of 65,000.
