I have been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking as my only source of transcription for the last 10 months.  Having used the previous Dragon product 8 years ago, there is no comparison and how much better the current product is.  I found the first product extremely nonproductive, while the current product allows me to easily dictate my office notes and generate x-ray reports for my patients.  My transcriptionist now goes home on time and spends her time at the office with billing and collections.

Although skeptical at first, I found that the lessons that were provided to me by Susan Grady at Connecting Point were invaluable.  Being instructed, rather than sitting with the book alone, made me concentrate and spend the time necessary to learn the system well enough to be successful at it.

I recommend Dragon NaturallySpeaking to my friends in practice.  I also recommend them to Connecting Point for the appropriate instruction.  All of this was less expensive than what it was costing for my transcription to be done in the office this year.
